Hyundai Construction Equipment (HCE) is a specialized construction equipment manufacturer that covers construction equipment and material handling such as excavators, wheel loaders, backhoe loaders, forklifts and skid loaders. Yes, Hyundai doesn’t only make cars. Originally, Hyundai Heavy Industries, in 1972, they eventually founded Hyundai Construction Equipment and quickly became a very successful part of the global construction network. They developed and launched their first medium-sized excavator in 1988 and their first wheel loader in 1990. With quick expansion between 1991 and 2020, they now have manufacturing factories and offices all over the world and looking towards the commercialization of hydrogen-powered construction equipment.
