Kubota Final Drives
Kubota is the number one builder of under-100 horsepower multi-cylinder, non-automotive diesel engines on Earth. In 1890, Gonshiro Kubota founded Kubota Limited, producing some of Japan’s finest cast-iron pipes. In 1922, they began producing oil-based engines and in 1960 came out the first Kubota tractor. Expanding in the 1970s, Kubota opens plants in both Canada and the United States focusing on lawn care and agriculture.
Kubota acquired The Kverneland Group in 2012, which offers an extensive range of agricultural implements aimed at the professional farming community, including mowing, hay & forage, and tillage tools. Today Kubota services the construction, agriculture, commercial and residential lawn and property maintenance industries with a lineup of compact and zero turn excavators, track and wheel loaders, skid steer loaders, track carries, mowers and utility vehicles.
